Municipalities and cities

47 municipalities and cities of the Sava corridor in three countries

The Sava corridor has a total of 47 cities and municipalities along its routes, in three neighboring countries, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Austria, and the Republic of Croatia. This corridor proposal, officially known as the Alpine-Southeastern corridor, is already largely, but not entirely, included in the core Trans-European Transport Network, TEN_T.
The core TEN_T network connects the most important hubs in Europe. With the help of EC (European Commission) funds, this network will be upgraded and finalised by 2030, so the missing parts of the corridor must be included in the core TEN_T in time.
Municipalities, cities, districts and federal lands

Twenty municipalities, cities and districts and federal states of the Danube-Mura-Drava-Sava corridor in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria

Koridor The Danube-Mura-Drava-Sava corridor has a total of twelve cities and municipalities in Slovenia, five districts in Croatia, and three federal states in Austria along its routes. The proposed corridor is already included in the core TEN_T, Trans-European transport network. The majority of the corridor consists of lines registered in the core TEN_T, only a shorter section on the border between Slovenia and Croatia is registered in the comprehensive TEN_T.
The core network TEN_T connects the most important hubs in Europe. With the help of EC (European Commission) funds, this network will be finalised by 2030. The comprehensive TEN_T network covers all European regions and will be completed by 2050 with the help of EC funds, so these parts of the corridor must be included in the core TEN_T.
