Brief info

Marko Kapetanović's research focuses on the improvement of environmental sustainability of regional railway services through the implementation of emerging technologies and effective policy measures.

In close cooperation with Arriva, the largest regional railway operator in the Netherlands, Kapetanović conducts his research on the design of integrated models for dynamic monitoring and prediction of well-to-wheel and life-cycle emissions.

Kapetanović holds a Master of Science in Railway Transport and Traffic Engineering from the University of Belgrade. Before joining TU Delft in 2018, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering of the University of Belgrade, and as a consultant at the World Bank.
